The framing studio in Basel

About us

Our framing studio in Basel, made up of workshop and storefront, was established in 1978 by Ginette Prendina, federally certified

frame maker, and Apostolos Yanneas, federally certified

handicrafts teacher.

In March 2021, the business was passed on to long-standing employee Johanna Baumgartner.

Together with a team of three, she continues the business with the same skilled craftsmanship and artistic flair.

Philosophy

In our work, we strive for elegance and respectful subtlety in relation to the artwork.

We see it as a creative challenge, setting each individual object in a suitable frame, in a finely balanced relationship, with extensive expertise and skilled craftsmanship – and with a great love of art.
